Black Mirror and Wired Article

In the Black mirror video, everything was based on your score as an individual. The higher your number, the less thing cost and the better quality you received. In this world, if someone did not agree with something you did, they would rate you a low score, which would in turn decrease your overall score.  It showed how technology could overcome the world someday, but not in a good way. Though this has not happened completely yet, I do feel that this scenario could definitely happen in the future. As a country, we already base our self by how many followers we have, how many likes our picture gets, and whether or not someone retweets our newest tweet.

In the Wired article, technology is also the main topic. It explains how phones can do almost anything from paying bills, by groceries, and ordering food. We already see these prevalent in our every day lives. The more we use our phones for type of information, the more a company can automatically compute your credit score. Later on in the video, it talks about how this "score" effected how much he had to pay in order to rent a bike because his score was not as high as others.
